We have often heard about the word global
warming. But what is it actually? If you ask a person to express his views
about the same, he will simply state as the heating up of the climate, in a sense
he is right. Global warming is the heating effect caused by the greenhouse
gases emitted from earth due to artificial or natural mean on the climate. So
basically the warming up of climate.

I am sure each and every one of us who is
interested in watching movies has watched a movie showing massive destruction
of earth due to natural causes. Movies like 2012, Day after tomorrow etc. often
gave a spine chilling effect. I often wondered that how is it possible that
such extensive amount of heat is getting piled up and if it so what amount?
Here one of the article which I read described that in how much amount the heat
is transferred into the atmosphere and where it is absorbed. By research of
global warming and its extent scientists estimated the amount of heat
transferred in the year 2012 into the oceans was approximately 125 trillion
Joules per second. Now imagine the amount of heat and destruction caused by
Hiroshima bombing; this is twice of Hiroshima. Further research says that in
recent years and by the end of 2013 it reached to about 12 Hiroshima’s per
second.
The analogy here the scientist have made
that if the current situation is accelerated at the same rate each year then
within 5 years we will be witnessing a sudden change in climate. I am not point
towards the scenarios of some destruction movie or it could be worse than that
too, we don’t know. But it is for certain a sudden change in climate condition
is evident it will last more than a decade.
